This policy explains what data Open Window House handles. The site is a static informational website and is intentionally kept simple.

Local storage

When you respond to the cookie notice on the home page, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under a single key so the notice is not shown again. This value stays on your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Contact form

The contact form runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the form simulates sending and then clears the fields. No data entered into the form is sent to, stored on, or processed by any server. Nothing you type is transmitted or retained.

Images from Wikimedia Commons

Photographs are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons servers. When your browser requests these images, the host receiving the request may log standard technical information such as your IP address, as is normal for any externally hosted file. This is governed by the privacy practices of the Wikimedia Foundation.

Fonts

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Requests for those font files are handled under Google's own privacy terms.

Analytics

This site does not run analytics or advertising trackers and does not set tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can clear the stored cookie choice at any time through your browser's site-data settings. Disabling local storage will simply cause the cookie notice to appear again on each visit.
